Refund Policy

Effective: May 2026

We want you to feel confident trying VerifiedPrep. This policy explains when you can get a refund. It does not limit any rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your province or territory.

New plan purchases (7-Day, 30-Day, 90-Day)

Full refund within 48 hours of purchase, as long as the paid features haven't been significantly used — specifically no more than one Writing or Speaking response submitted for AI scoring, and the Mock Exam not started. Approved refunds are automatic to the original payment method and plan access ends immediately.

Subscription renewals

Plans renew automatically so access isn't interrupted. Cancel anytime from the account to stop future renewals; a reminder email is sent before each renewal. If a renewal charges and the service wasn't used in the new period, you can request a full refund within 7 days of that charge, as long as you haven't started a Mock Exam in that renewal period.

Mock Exam (CA$9.99)

Refundable within 48 hours, only if you haven't started it. You can request this yourself from your account, the same way as any other refund.

General terms

Full refunds only, no proration. Self-serve refunds are limited to one per customer; additional requests are reviewed by support. Request via “Request a refund” in the account or support@verifiedprep.com.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights under applicable consumer-protection law (cancel for non-delivery, undisclosed terms, or unfair practices). Quebec and other provincial residents retain non-waivable protections.
